How to request a refund
Email kailaconsulting@outlook.com from the address tied to your license. You don't have to explain why — but if it's a bug, we'd love to know so we can fix it. Refunds are processed within 3 business days, usually within a few hours. The credit appears on your card 2–10 days after that, depending on your bank.
What we'll do
- Refund the full purchase price to your original payment method.
- Revoke the license key on both activation slots.
- Delete the license record from our license server.
- Leave you on the trial for the time you have left, if any.
What we won't do
- Ask you to "give us another chance".
- Email you a list of features you might have missed.
- Route you through a chatbot.
- Charge a restocking fee, a "processing fee", or anything else we made up.
The 7-day window
The window starts on the date of purchase shown on your Stripe receipt and runs for 7 calendar days. Inside the window, the refund is automatic. Outside the window, refunds are handled case-by-case — almost always granted for technical issues we can't resolve, almost always declined for "changed my mind 6 months later". We use good faith on both sides.
Edge cases we get asked about
- I bought it on a Black Friday discount. Same refund policy. We don't penalize buying on sale.
- My Mac died and I can't open Settings to deactivate. Email us. We deactivate server-side and a slot frees up.
- I want a refund but keep the app. No — refunding revokes the license. We can leave you on the trial if there's time remaining.
- My company paid for it. Refund goes to the original card. We can issue a credit note for accounting.
- Vehla broke after a macOS update. Refund is on the table, but please email us first — most of these we can fix in a day.
Chargebacks
Please email us before disputing with your bank. We refund faster than a chargeback resolves, and the chargeback fee comes out of our small team's lunch budget. We've never refused a legitimate refund, so a chargeback is rarely the right tool here.
Trial users
The 7-day trial doesn't charge a card, so there's nothing to refund. If you accidentally bought a license thinking the trial was over, email us — we'll sort it out.
